subsidized spay/neuter programs for low income families and for people
who would not otherwise spay/neuter their pets.
B. Work with area vet clinics to
subsidize spay/neuter costs for people participating in trap/spay,
neuter/release programs. This would include feral cat colonies and
barn cat colonies.
II.
To encourage people to assist in rescue programs for unwanted/abandoned
dogs and cats.
A. Subsidize vet and food costs for
people who provide foster homes for animals and need financial help.
III.

A. Provide information on the U.S.
euthanasia rate and the health benefits of spay/neuter via newspaper
ads, flyers, booths at fairs, school programs, etc.
