In Case of Emergency:
The ASPCA has a 24 hour Animal Poison Control Center
hotline at
888-426-4435.  There is a $65 consultation
fee, but if your pet ingested something poisonous, it
could save their life.  Be ready with breed, age, sex,
and weight of animal, symptoms, the name of poison
and time elapsed since ingestion.  If your pet is having
breathing call your vet or emergency vet clinic ASAP.

To Wash Stinky Doggy Ears
Try a mixture of equal parts
alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, and white vinegar.

Natural Repellent
Try sprinkling cinnamon on your dog’s food to
repel fleas, ticks and mosquitoes.

Say NO! to Onion
Onion can cause hemolytic anemia in dogs.
Ingestion can even cause death.

OUTDOOR CAT TIPS FOR WINTER:
Put warm water in deep bowls to keep it from freezing
Insulate cat shelters by using hay instead of blankets.
Hay won’t absorb moisture like cloth.
Build a shelter for the feral cats in your neighborhood.
Buy a plastic storage box (the kind used to store
Christmas decorations, paper files, etc) with the
removable lid and cut a hole out of one end just big
enough for the cats to get in.
It’s really easy to clean out in the spring!
